Nancy Jean Kaercher of Phoenixville

Nancy Jean (Copes) Kaercher, age 78, wife of Leo Kaercher, of Phoenixville, Penn­syl­va­nia, passed away peace­fully on Wed­nes­day, Novem­ber 7, 2018 at the Paoli Hospi­tal sur­rounded by her lov­ing fam­ily.

Born on Septem­ber 8, 1940 in Pitts­burgh, Penn­syl­va­nia, she was a daugh­ter of the late Wil­liam & Nancy Copes.

Nancy was an avid golfer who en­joyed play­ing with friends or fam­ily. Nancy also loved to take trips to the casi­nos, where she was al­ways a big win­ner. Nancy en­joyed play­ing slot ma­chines at the Val­ley Forge Casino and, when not at the casino, she loved to shop for fam­ily and friends. Nancy was a very gen­er­ous gift giver. Most of all Nancy loved spend­ing time with her fam­ily that she cher­ished. She was a lov­ing wife, mother, grand­mother, great-grand­mother, and dear friend to all and she will be greatly missed, but never for­got­ten.

Nancy is sur­vived by Leo, her lov­ing hus­band of 58 years, as well as her four sons and their wives: Mark and Sylvia Kaercher, Dou­glas and Erin Kaercher, Steven and Sandy Kaercher, and Christo­pher Kaercher; two sis­ters and hus­bands, Sandy and Richard Ma­succi, Margie and Ste­wart Rit­ter; step-mother, Ethel Copes; as well as her eight lov­ing grand­chil­dren, and two great­grand­chil­dren.In ad­di­tion to her par­ents, she was pre­ceded in death by her son Lee Kaercher.

Rel­a­tives and friends are in­vited to at­tend the view­ing for Nancy on Mon­day evening, Novem­ber 12, 2018 from 6:00 PM 8:00 PM, at the Camp­bell En­nis Klotz bach Fu­neral Home Inc, Phoenixville PA. Rel­a­tives and friends will also be re­ceived on Tues­day morn­ing, Novem­ber 13, 2018 from 9:30 AM 10:15 AM at the St. Basil the Great R.C. Church, 2300 Kim­ber­ton Road PO Box 637, Kim­ber­ton, Penn­syl­va­nia. Mass will fol­low the view­ing at 10:30 AM, Of­fi­ci­at­ing will be Rev. Gary T. Pacitti. Burial will be held pri­vately at the con­ve­nience of the fam­ily.
