Dorothy Bartholomay Arrowsmith

Dorothy Bartholomay Arrowsmith, 89, of the Landing of Collegeville, formerly of Vandling and Montrose, PA, died at Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville, PA on November 7, 2018.

She was the widow of Richard Arrowsmith and the daughter of Adolph and Anna Bartholomay.

She is survived by her son, Richard D Arrowsmith, his wife Deborah of Gilbertsville, her three grandsons Jeffrey, his wife Jessica of Gilbertsville, Bradley, his wife Caitlin of Gilbertsville, and Kyle, his wife Alexandra of Emmaus. In addition, she was loved by four great grandchildren, Hayden, Addison, Eleana and Auden. Dorothy is also survived by her sister, Joan Kigerl of Dothan, AL and her sisterin-law, Barbara Bartholomay of State College, PA plus several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Bartholomay.

A memorial service with visitation will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Montrose, PA, on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. Visitation to begin at 12pm with a service to follow at 1 pm. Burial will follow the service at Rounds Cemetery, Union Dale, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy’s name to Christ Episcopal Church, Delaware St., Forest City, PA 18421 or St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 276 Church St., Montrose, PA 18801.
