Bill Butler of Perkiomenville
It is with the greatest sorrow that we announce the passing of Bill Butler of Perkiomenville, PA, on December 2, 2018 after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
He was born on June 16, 1943. After graduating high school at Saint Pius X, he enlisted and served in the United States Air Force.
In 1964, he married Dolly Schepperd, and they welcomed their only child, William A., in 1966.
Bill worked in the automotive repair and water treatment industries. However, his greatest passion was proudly serving as Pennsylvania State Constable for Montgomery County from February 2012 until earlier this year.
Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Diane of Marietta, GA; his granddaughters: Tori, MacKenna, and Serena; his brothers: Laurance, Joseph, and Robert; and his sisters: Paula Denslow and Betsy Crook.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 2 p.m. at St. Philip Neri in Pennsburg, PA.
The Burial Service will be Monday, March 11, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.
