Bill But­ler of Perkiomenville

It is with the great­est sor­row that we an­nounce the pass­ing of Bill But­ler of Perkiomenville, PA, on De­cem­ber 2, 2018 after a hard-fought bat­tle with can­cer.

He was born on June 16, 1943. After grad­u­at­ing high school at Saint Pius X, he en­listed and served in the United States Air Force.

In 1964, he mar­ried Dolly Schep­perd, and they wel­comed their only child, Wil­liam A., in 1966.

Bill worked in the au­to­mo­tive re­pair and wa­ter treat­ment in­dus­tries. How­ever, his great­est pas­sion was proudly serv­ing as Penn­syl­va­nia State Con­sta­ble for Mont­gomery County from Fe­bru­ary 2012 un­til ear­lier this year.

Bill was pre­ceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years. He is sur­vived by his son and daugh­ter-in-law, Diane of Ma­ri­etta, GA; his grand­daugh­ters: Tori, MacKenna, and Ser­ena; his broth­ers: Lau­rance, Joseph, and Robert; and his sis­ters: Paula Denslow and Betsy Crook.

A Memo­rial Ser­vice will be held on Satur­day, March 9, 2019, at 2 p.m. at St. Philip Neri in Penns­burg, PA.

The Burial Ser­vice will be Mon­day, March 11, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Wash­ing­ton Cross­ing Na­tional Ceme­tery in New­town, PA.
