Spring-Ford stops CB South in OT

The Spring-Ford boys basketball team threw a shutout in overtime Friday.

The Rams held Central Bucks South scoreless in the extra period for a 69-65 victory in its season opener.

Spring-Ford got 19 points from Noah Baker and 16 from Robert Bobeck. Tyler Sellingo (8 points) had a 3-pointer in OT for the only made shot from the field in the frame. POTTSGROVE 63, DEVON PREP 56 » Manny Clark scored 27 points and the Falcons topped Devon Prep in the opening round of the Pottsgrove Tip-Off Tournament.

Justin Robinson added 17 points in the win.

POPE JOHN PAUL II 60, JOHN BARTRAM 58 » Drew McKeon hit two free throws with 7.1 seconds left to lift the Golden Panthers over Bartram in the opening round of the Father Judge Tip-Off Tournament.

McKeon was one of four PJP players to score in double figures, finishing with a team-high 17. Sean Bustynowic­z followed with 14, Tyshyre DeVeaux-Malachi with 11 and Chris White with 10. OWEN J.
