Major Carole Lynn Honsberger of Pottstown

Major Carole Lynn Honsberger, 64, of Pottstown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at ManorCare Health Services in Laureldale, PA.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, on September 16, 1954, Carole was the daughter of the late Albert Allan Honsberger Sr., and Doris (Whitmore) Honsberger.

Major Carole devoted her life to The Salvation Army as an officer and minister from 1979 – 2018.

She is survived by two nephews, Michael and Stephen Honsberger; and one niece, Allison Honsberger.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by one brother, Captain Albert Allan Honsberger Jr.

Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at The Salvation Army, 137 King St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A Life Celebration will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.

In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Albert Allan Honsberger Star Lake Music Camp Scholarship fund, c/o Territorial Headquarters Music Department.
