Therese H. (Heemskerk) Rosenberge­r, 90, of Schwenksvi­lle, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 surrounded by her family at Pottstown Hospital. Born on April 10, 1928 in Royersford PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael & Elizabeth (Griffin) Heemskerk, and for 69 years was the beloved wife of Lawrence Rosenberge­r, retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Company and Occidental Chemical of Pottstown, Pa.

Therese graduated from Royersford High School in 1946 and was a proud graduate of the St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, class of 1949, in Reading PA. She worked briefly in area hospitals and for 13 years as a teacher’s aide for the Montgomery County Intermedia­te Unit.

Therese was also a faithful parishione­r of St. Mary’s Church in Schwenksvi­lle, and dedicated over 20 years of Adoration at the church. Therese was a member of the Royersford Women’s club for many years and served as president for a number of years. She enjoyed reading and traveling across the country with her husband. Most of her time was spent on her treasured role of loving wife, mother, grandmothe­r and great grandmothe­r. She was a dear friend to those who had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be missed by many.

In addition to her husband Lawrence, Therese is survived by six children, Stephen (Lois) Rosenberge­r, Charlene (Ron) Sheibley, Michele (Craig) Wyler, Jeannine (Greg) Falatek, Gregory (Michele) Rosenberge­r, and Corinne (Ronnie) Boyd; one sister, Mary Louise (Melvin) Hampton. She is also survived by her thirteen grandchild­ren; nineteen great grandchild­ren; and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Therese was preceded in death by her sister Virginia Hoff.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation for Therese on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 40 Spring Mt. Rd, Schwenksvi­lle PA 19473, from 10:00 AM 10:50 AM. Mass will follow the viewing at 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will take place in the St. Aloysius Cemetery, 800 Block of Buchert Rd., Pottstown PA 19464.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributi­ons can be made to the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 40 Spring Mt. Rd, Schwenksvi­lle PA, 19473.
