Just like politics everyone has an opinion. There are more oodles of uninhabited buildings along our main street, Business 422, than restaurants, bars and clubs. It seems the powers that be in town should be more worried about changing that situation than one liquor license that can be taken away a lot faster than rebuilding in Pottstown. Again just an opinion.

It’s a sad day when it’s easier to abort an American child than it is to deport an illegal alien. We live in a land run by idiots when it’s illegal to kill unhatched bald eagles but legal to kill unborn humans. —Jim Dandy

To Info Depot you claim Trump didn’t win the popular vote because millions of immigrants who are illegal voted for Hillary. That’s Trump and Fox News talking and we all know you can’t trust them at all. And to Night Light, you said 51 percent isn’t a majority. Where did you ever hear of a contest between two people, two groups or two teams ending in a 51-49 tie?

I see where Gov. Wolf lives up to his name as a wolf. He’s sinking his teeth into our pocketbooks again with a $34 billion state budget increasing taxes on the taxpayer to fund for more nonsense. I wish he would get real and at least give the taxpayer a break while people are leaving Pennsylvania for lower tax states.

After watching the State of the Union speech Tuesday night, I can’t believe the Democrats how they act. They sit there like a bump on a log with all the good things that have happened in the past two years and nobody wants to clap or do anything to show appreciation for what’s been done in this country.

I can’t believe the thought processes of today’s politicians. If aboard a sinking ship they would probably drill a hole in the bottom to let the water out. —Jim Fitch

Did you know that most Mexicans are Native Americans and not Spanish? —Night Light

Despite Trump’s “ridiculous partisan investigations,” they will continue as they should. Federal prosecutors have just issued a subpoena for documents from his inaugural committee. The U.S. attorney’s office in the Southern District of New York is investigating allegations that the committee misspent some of the tens of millions of dollars he raised from donations. Sounds more like corruption than draining the swamp, Donnie. —One Who Wonders What Comes Next

I’m calling about all the Trump haters. I hope everybody heard his State of the Union speech Tuesday night. I thought it was excellent. I’m sure there’s a lot of Democrats who disagree with me but you know what it’s a free country and we all have our own beliefs. I hope this country can unite, that’s what we need.

Move over men, the real caravan has arrived in the U.S. Thirty-six new women were elected to Congress in November, adding to the 66 female incumbents who were re-elected. This was the most important message I took from Trump’s appearance at Nancy’s House. —Lord Liv

For Pelosi to say Trump didn’t address gun violence, how long has she been in Washington? This year is 20 years since Columbine. If they had done their job there wouldn’t have been a Sandy Hook or Parkland. By the way, what have they done since the latter? Oh yeah lots of spending on coverups and worthless investigations. Same old same old. —Lady Di

Another great speech on Tuesday night by our great President Donald J. Trump. According to a CBS poll his speech had a 72 percent approval rating on the content of his speech.

I realize it’s almost unheard of for a Catholic to read the Bible but if Nancy Pelosi ever did read it she would find the word “wall” mentioned hundreds of times in the Bible. An unwalled community was the target of every killer king to plunder, and they did. Today the U.S. is the free plunder that everyone wants. —Info Depot

I watched the entire Super Bowl. It turned out like I expected. I’m not a young person I’m over 55 but I thought that was the best halftime show I ever heard. Maroon 5 to me is a new group even though they’ve been around for years. I thought they were excellent. And Tom Brady put on a show. The Rams tried their best but I think that the Patriots would have beaten anybody that came up including our boys.

This is to Jay Miller. In the percentage of migrants committing a crime if they’re illegal they’re already committing a crime. So you figure it out. Before you make a statement like that why don’t you think before you talk? —The Thinker
