Take a look at what friends and neighbors are saying about local hot topics and join in on the conversation.

I see where the socialist congresswoman from New York, Cortez, is talking about having nothing but green energy in 10 years. She said it’s only going to cost $7 trillion. I wonder what we’ll do with all the cars that run on gas and homes that are heated with oil? I guess we’ll be in trouble then. I don’t know why she’s so worried about it. She said the world’s going to end in 12 years.

I just learned I have to pay Pennsylvania sales tax on everything that I purchase from catalogs even if they’re out of state. I find that outrageous and almost unconstitutional that I have to pay sales tax when I’m not even purchasing it in the state of Pennsylvania. I don’t know whose brainstorm this was but it’s senseless and it doesn’t seem right.

It was hilarious listening to the coward during his speech begging to end all investigations of him. What a liar.

Shame, shame, shame on the new women who have just gotten into our Congress. They were a disgrace. They acted like high school girls when the president was talking. They have a closed mind. I thought they would have an open mind and work with him instead they have a wall built because they won’t agree with one thing he does. I say shame on them.

I’m not the smartest person in the world but I just realized if you dropped the T from Trump then you get a big what? You know what I mean. It’s just what he’s acting like.

I’d just like to say I think the Tiger hater should move on.

I’ve worked for men and women and I’ve always believed if you’re the person for the job that’s great. I have no problem with that. But to watch these congresswomen dancing around in their white outfits like cheerleaders and Nancy Pelosi raising everyone up like the evil house mother, you talk about disgrace on the world stage. Pull together people, let’s get this right. This is out of control.

To the person who wrote the Sound Off about Tiger, last year you compared yourself to Tiger, the amount of money that you made. You’re just jealous. Your facts are all wrong.

I wish West Pottsgrove commissioners would buy that swimming pool so the children would have a place to swim in a community pool like other towns such as Boyertown and Harleysville. Every child should be taught how to swim.

Northam in Virginia should absolutely resign the governor’s office. What he did was truly embarrassing and racially insensitive. That said, if he was a conservative they would never have called him on it, instead they would probably have planned a parade for him. #justsaying.

I continue to be annoyed by someone I swear stays up late at night going through the dictionary to find how many long and unknown words they can use in their comments. I don’t know who they’re trying to impress but I have to say it’s a safe bet most people have no idea what this person is trying to say. I’m also sure most people know who I’m talking about.

If someone asked me to pick just one word and only one word to describe myself, I would probably say “does not follow instructions well.”

You reap what you sow in life. We see that in action now. Everyone who seems to be counting lies I’m sure have none in their past but then again we all know how politicians have been known for the truth. The socialist agenda should be alarming for all Americans but we do know how the story ends. No fear here.

I like the idea submitted by the caller to open a bicycle shop in the retail space to be vacated by Weitzenkorn’s. To complement this business I would like to open a bicycle accessory store in the space vacated by Mosteller’s Seafood. I could sell bicycle helmets, spandex, padded shorts and my personal favorite rear view mirrors which attach to the helmets. Let the profits begin. Any ideas for the Pottstown Florist location? Tricycles or scooters for kids perhaps?

I read where the cost for the bike lanes was approximately $12 million. I figure that since several more longtime stores have just announced they are closing, the need for these bike lanes won’t be necessary. Since there won’t be anybody shopping in town the bikers can ride on the sidewalks. Town council, can you say ghost town? Just wondering.

Two wrongs don’t make a right. Take your parents as an example.
