BLAIR ACADEMY 65, HILL SCHOOL 56 >> The Hill School fell in the MidAt­lantic Prep League cham­pi­onship game Sun­day at the Ped­die School.

The loss snapped a six-game win streak for the Blues (14-10) af­ter Satur­days’ dra­matic win over Lawrenceville.

The was close through­out with Hill trail­ing by one pos­ses­sion at the half and af­ter the third quar­ter and led briefly in the fourth quar­ter be­fore Blair built a six­point lead with un­der two min­utes left and sealed it at the freethrow line go­ing 14-for-14. Pennbound Jor­dan Din­gle led Blair with 22 points.

Caleb Dorsey led Hill with 19 points, Ryan Mof­fatt fol­lowed with 16, Justin Adedin­sewo added 10, and Xavier Mayo chipped in 8 in lim­ited min­utes due to foul trou­ble.

Hill now moves on to the PAISAA tour­na­ment, look­ing to de­fend its 2018 ti­tle. Hill is the No. 6 seed, and opens play Fri­day at home against Epis­co­pal Academy. PERKIOMEN SCHOOL 69, PA­TRICK SCHOOL 68 >> Perk School pre­vailed in the Prime­time Shootout getting 24 points from Chris Ar­cidi­a­cono, plus 19 and 13 re­spec­tively from Kee­shawn Kell­man and Niels Lane.

Next up for Perkiomen is its PAISAA tour­na­ment opener against Spring­side-Chest­nut Hill at 4 p.m. on Feb. 15.

Wrestling

UP­PER DUBLIN IN­VI­TA­TIONAL >> Luke Ricci and Sam Beck­ett were among the weight-class cham­pi­ons from Satur­day’s Car­di­nal In­vi­ta­tional.

Ricci (Perkiomen Val­ley) won at 106 with an 11-8 de­ci­sion of In­ter­boro’s Chase Gallo. Beck­ett (Hill School) topped the 138-pound bracket with a 7-2 de­ci­sion of Cen­tral Bucks West’s Do­minic Stoughton.

An­other fi­nal­ist for the fourth­place Vik­ings (103 points) was Austin Row­ley, who was sec­ond at 152. Nor­ris­town, sixth in the team stand­ings (85.5), had a pair of cham­pi­ons in Isa­iah Tucker (132), a 5-3 win­ner over West Ch­ester Rustin’s Char­lie Bal­dasari; and Nick Se­mon (145), who pinned In­ter­boro’s Dy­lan LaJu­dice in the sec­ond pe­riod.
