All we hear from the Democrat socialists is that 90 percent of all drugs confiscated at the border are from ports of entry. Even the Dem socialists must realize that is because we have no idea how much is being brought in across the rest of the unwalled border. You can carry a half-million-dollars of powdered fentanyl in a two-gallon baggie. Build the wall Mr. President, whatever it takes.

Lefty, here you go again you speak without listening. I called in about getting the increase in my tax refund for 2018 compared to 2017. I also said that my income was identical both years. Now the people that are getting smaller refunds this year are also having less money taken out of their paychecks every week. I don’t know what you don’t understand or why you don’t listen but you just keep going down the road you are. You prove a lot of points to a lot of people.

In Douglass (Mont.) when it comes to the supervisors wasting taxpayers’ money I’m wondering why that $20,000-plus garage was built behind the police station? What is it for, personal things or township-related items? Was it needed at all since we have that new huge township building which will cost close to $2 million till it’s all said and done? I would like to see the electric bills for December, January, February and also summertime bills. —Concerned Taxpayer

Fifteen million women including some in my own family have decided to own and carry a firearm. You might call it a woman’s right to choose. Crime control is much more effective than gun control. Most liberal arguments on guns can be shutdown with the F word, that is, “facts” F-A-C-T-S. —Keep America Free

I just was going down Industrial Highway and I see the beautiful expensive bike trail they put in that’s been closed ever since they put it in and the Keim Street bridge which would alleviate a lot of problems for a lot of people is still pushed back on the agenda. Somebody needs to come forward. Maybe we need a rally on the Keim Street bridge. Get it done now.

We have received the dreaded smart meter. I found a stainless steel mesh cover for $65 to protect us from the EMS radiation. What is everyone else using?

A good man leaves everyone he meets feeling a little better than they did before. He’s a pleasure to be around, an inspiration in good times and bad, a gift for all seasons. Whether woman or man let’s all try to be a little bit better so we can help someone else. —Mom Mom

Next to Hillary Clinton, the three most evil people ever born on this earth are Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren and that Cortez woman who happens to be nothing but a foreigner and shouldn’t be in our government in the first place. These women should not be allowed in our government, they’re evil.

In Pottstown things are via the opinion of singular men alone. Enlightened Citizens and Tree Fund are Tom Hylton only. Council is Dan Weand alone. Other opinions unwelcome. —John Potts

Glad to see that the government won’t shut down and federal workers will continue to work. That also means no concrete wall and no national emergency. Conservatives should stand up to Trump instead of being cowards. #don’tbescared. —Lefty

I see one of the big department stores went ahead and pulled their T shirts that said “fake news” on it. What was it two weeks ago they had the Covington Catholic School kids wearing MAGA hats attacking this Native American guy. Then when you watched the whole video you realized, no, the MAGA kid didn’t even attack the Indian guy, the Indian guy walked up to him beating the drum. Fake news.

I’m a taxpayer. How can Amazon make an $11.2 billion profit and pay zero federal income tax? What is wrong with our system? This needs to be straightened out because all these big companies get away with murder and the little guy has to pay everything. This is a very unfair tax system.

The pretzel place in Gilbertsville had heart-shaped pretzels for Valentine’s. They were delicious. Everybody liked them. I’ll see you again next year for Valentine’s.

I see where Trump gets $1.57 billion from Congress for border security but he will still declare a so-called “national emergency” anyway. Donnie, isn’t that like trying to have your cake and eat it too? It’s a very sad state of affairs that we have a deranged individual as president like him. —One Who Is Scared
