Take a look at what friends and neighbors are saying about local hot topics and join in on the conversation.

We see in The Mercury how they vandalized the cannon at the entrance to Memorial Park on Manatawny Street. I remember when we were kids we would be taken to the park and we would climb on it and make like we were shooting it but we would never do anything to hurt it. The darlings who defaced it ought to get a draft notice in the mail and maybe in the military they will learn some respect because certainly their parents and the school system have failed.

I see it happened again, an illegal immigrant who ICE tried to detain nine different times but the sanctuary city of San Jose, California, would not comply and he ended up killing a woman, an American citizen. The sanctuary city, the sanctuary state of California couldn’t care less. Now he murdered her, a mother. Never ends does it? So what do you say about that Lefty and Jay Miller with your great Democratic policies? Trump’s news conference the other day on CNN and he was raving about how we’re collecting all these billions in tariffs but what he’s not telling the people is when you buy anything from China that 25 percent is being added onto the price. I can prove it by the emergency lighting I just bought for the church. We used to get that for $78 and now it’s over $100. So I think a lot of the money is being paid by the U.S. citizen.

I would like to thank Rich Hawley owner of Kelsey O’Shay’s in Douglassville for the wonderful job he did hosting and organizing a benefit for my son Brian last weekend. The benefit was a success, the food great and I thank him for all the hard work that he did. Great place to go and have dinner.

To add to the conversation about belief and faith, all this division and hatred is not political but spiritual. I have never seen so much hatred for one person that we all are seeing today. How many of these people are praying for our country and all the leaders in it? Things change all the time. We don’t know what the future holds but I am grateful to know who holds the future.

Many Republicans were willing to allow President Obama to unlawfully enact executive amnesty but they’re unwilling to allow President Trump to legally secure our border. It looks like they’re going to embarrass themselves again by siding with the Democrats against the security of the American people.

Please pray for this event on May 4, New York City Times Square, 4-D ultrasounds right on the big screen. Please proclaim life. This is a child, a real child, not a blob of tissue. God bless you. Love you.

I think we ought to abolish the Do Not Call list because it does not work. I keep getting these telemarketing calls and it says if I want to be put on their Do Not Call list to press 3. Why don’t they get the Do Not Call list and review it before they make the calls? Why should I have to be bothered to answer the call and press 3?

These new congresswomen who were voted in this past year like Dean, Houlahan, Omar and Cortez are really clueless. This is what happens when you vote for somebody because of their race or gender.

Does anyone know if Montgomery County still has those programs for law-breaking citizens picking up trash along Route 422 bypass? The trash is horrible. It’s a great teaching experience for one thinking about breaking the law to see individuals picking up trash along Route 422 or any road.

My daughter and grandson and I went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse Wednesday night. The dinner was great and we had a lovely waitress. It’s been years since I saw such hospitality.

Yeah Donnie boy, go ahead and pardon Manafort. I’d rather see him go to a state prison anyway, then his picnic will be over.

This is an update to my fellow homeowners concerned about property taxes. A few calls were made the other day to Rep. Toepel and Rep. Hennessey and the responses are that there’s absolutely nothing going on. Yes you’re going to be drilled again this year for your property taxes and it doesn’t look like it’s going to end anytime soon. The only thing we can do like we said before is vote them out of office.
