I’m just wondering, are Pottstown and North Coventry in competition for the most potholes? — Disgusted

Our government has all of us so brainwashed and so does all of the news. No wonder our world is the way it is. Until we learn to follow the rules, obey them and go back to disciplining, our world will never be right. Everything is so out of hand and you blame Trump for everything. It’s not just one person’s fault, it’s all our faults. Since high technology came along our world has been turned upside down and inside out.

You can fool some of the people but to be so arrogant as to think everyone believes the lies fed to America is pure ego. We do see who is working for us. We are sick of seeing people pouring across our border. We can’t even take care of our own people — veterans, seniors and homeless. How ignorant to allow more people to come live in our street. Oh that’s right, they get free stuff, and our children are left homeless. —Lady Di

This is to Baby Trump. How do you know that eight million people got tax refunds last year? Do you work for the IRS? No one else knows how many got tax refunds. And you say now these eight million people owe money this year. That’s not what I hear. I hear people saying they got more back this year than last year. Why do you make up numbers?

Looks like our leftist governor and his creepy henchmen are determined to ram legalized pot down our throats. After all, a dumbed down electorate is more likely to vote for Democrats and fall for their latest scams.

Tiger redemption, it was masterful. Fifteen-time major champion. Claimed his jacket for the fifth time since 2005. Four back surgeries and he still fought back. What do you think hater?

This is for the two women who came into the Douglassville Post Office behind me on Monday, tax day. I had a letter, you had packages and you almost mowed me over cutting me off to get to the counter before me. I don’t know what happened to courtesy but you two ladies clearly didn’t display any. I didn’t know where the mail slot was and you sure weren’t going to help me. By the way I tripped over your brooms you left by the door.

Would someone please tell all of the religious leaders — the pope, the ministers, the evangelists, tell them all — sell all your artifacts, collectibles, bank accounts and buy food and clothing and feed the naked and hungry. —Starlight

I would like to remind all pet owners that Easter grass is deadly to animals especially cats. Take it from me I had a cat who almost died from ingesting Easter grass so if you don’t have to use it use pretty colored paper or something like that. The kids don’t care, they just want the candy. Also Easter lilies are poisonous to cats so please be mindful if you have pets. —Bonnie

I see they tore down that nice older house at Pleasantview Road and High Street for a new township building in Lower Pottsgrove. The current one isn’t that old. I guess they couldn’t tell ahead of time when they built it that they were going to get too big for it. It’s called planning, not a new concept. So I hope the new township building has some kind of character to it and doesn’t end up looking ugly like some other ones.

This is about seniors and property taxes. The politicians and the governor are just making fools of us seniors and I think it’s about time we do something more about it than just write letters. What we need to do is have someone organize busloads of people and go to Harrisburg and just protest and protest until the governor realizes we are serious about this.

Thank you to the Boyertown Redner’s. All the people there are so kind and always ready to help you if you need anything. It is the best. Thank you again and Happy Easter.

This has to do with opioids. My wife is 81 and she has been taking opioids for over 15 years because she has had eight back surgeries and is completely disabled. She is not a drug addict, she doesn’t take them to get high, she medically needs them. Her pain is 24/7 and now doctors won’t give her any. I think the medical community had best begin to realize the difference. —A Compassionate Husband
