COACH OF THE YEAR
Jeff Derstine, Methacton
In his ninth season at the helm of the Warriors’ program, Derstine led Methacton to its second straight Pioneer Athletic Conference championship, becoming the first team to accomplish the feat in 19 years. After the Warriors made their second ever run to the district quarterfinals, Methacton won its second and third ever state playoff games to advance to the PIAA Class 6A quarterfinals for the first time in school history, where they fell to eventual state champion Pennridge on a buzzer beater.
