Pottstown — Saturday starting at 10:30 AM, BCCP will be accepting Backpacks and School Supplies in support of upcoming School Supply Give-Away. Pottstown — Trinity Reformed UCC will host a National Night Out event this Tuesday, August 6, from 6-8 PM on the front lawn of the church at 60 N. Hanover Street in Pottstown. Join us for a few hours of fun, music, food and prizes for the whole family. You will be able to register to vote, speak with members of various community agencies like: NAACP, P.O.W.E.R., Zuber Realty, CCLU, Christ Episcopal Church, and many more. Come out and meet your neighbors and share a free hot dog, pop corn and Rita’s Water Ice. Church tours will be available, as will the Community Prayer Wall for all to use.

Pottstown — Rev. Austin Chinault of Zion’s United Church of Christ, Hanover and Chestnut Streets at the 10:15 am worship service will receive Keith and Laura Clattenburg as new members of Zion’s. A welcoming luncheon reception will follow the worship service. Special music this Sunday will be Robert Rinaldo guest vocalist who will sing “I Will Rise.” Rinaldo sings for the Paoli Presbyterian Church Choir and also has performed in many community theater productions. Pizza and Ping Pong continues at 5:30 pm on Wednesday nights. There will be a second Fraktur painting on slates once on the church roof. East Greenville — New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ, East Greenville, is sponsoring its 9th annual Allentown Band Concert and Park Picnic on Saturday, Aug. 31, in New Goshenhoppen Park, Third Street, East Greenville.
