Veteran photo ID card event to be held Nov. 15

HARLEYSVILLE >> Daniel’s Lawn and Garden Center will host the Montgomery County Recorder of Deeds on Friday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in a program to assist veterans obtain veterans photo ID cards.

The center is located at 1457 Sumneytown Pike. Veterans who bring their DD214 military discharge form will be issued their photo ID card immediately, which can help claim veterans discounts.

Daniel’s is also hosting a Warm Hugs for Vets collection of new sweaters and sweatshirts. Those who bring a donation, size XL or larger, by Dec. 15 will receive a $5 gift card from Daniel’s.
