Pottstown — Members of Trinity UCC, 60 N. Hanover St., will light the third Advent candle during worship at 9:30 AM Sunday. Following the service, members will prepare the Sanctuary for Christmas Eve. The altar will feature 75 poinsettia­s. In addition, 144 candles will be placed to illuminate the sanctuary for the candleligh­t service. The Christmas Eve service will begin on Dec. 24 at 7 PM with an organ recital by Willian P. Conrad, Director of Music. The liturgy will begin at 7:30 and will feature the Christmas story in word and song. At the conclusion of the service, the congregati­on will light individual candles and encircle the sanctuary. All will sing “Silent Night” to end the service.

Pottstown — First Baptist Church (ABCUSA) Charlotte at King Street. Join us this Sunday, Dec. 22, for Worship at 10:00 am as we light the fourth candle of Advent, and stay for Youth and Adult Learning Communitie­s at 11:15 am. Limerick — Members of St. James will meet Saturday at 9:30 a.m. to deliver over 300 “Shining Star” baskets providing a Christmas meal to families in local communitie­s. Christmas

Eve services are: 5 and 7 p.m. family contempora­ry worship, 9 p.m. youth led service, and 11 p.m. traditiona­l candleligh­t worship. All services include Holy Communion. Church is located at 93 Kugler Road.

Pottstown — St. John’s United Church of Christ, 11 S. Price St., will celebrate the fourth Sunday of Advent at the 10:15 am service. The message of Love will be given by Matt Moyer along with the confirmati­on class. Christmas Eve will be celebrated with a Candleligh­t Service at 7:30 pm. Kimberton — On Sunday, Dec. 22, the Fourth Sunday of Advent, there will be a worship service at 9:30 AM and the fourth candle of the Advent wreath will be lit. Pastor Jerry Tancredi will be bringing the message and the sacrament of Holy Communion will be observed. Bible study is held at the church on Wednesday mornings at 10:30 AM.
