Steel River to stage 3 shows this month
The artists of Steel River Playhouse are working hard to bring three live performances to theater lovers.
POTTSTOWN >> With summer camp in full swing the artists of Steel River Playhouse are working hard to bring three live performances to theater lovers.
The first two will be outdoors at the Kimberton Park Amphitheater.
“Aesop’s (Oh So Slightly) Updated Fables” will be performed in Kimberton Park on Saturday, Aug. 14, at 10 a.m.
“This is a great show for the whole family, so come to the Kimberton Park Amphitheater, bring a blanket and enjoy the free admission,” said Steel River spokesperson Betsy Scott Chapman. “You’ll love the new spin on these children’s stories.”
The following week will find “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at the Kimberton Amphitheater, on Saturday, Aug. 21, at 7:30 p.m.. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors with children under 12 admitted free.

Taking place at Steel River Playhouse in Pottstown is the popular show “Heathers — High School edition,” performed by Steel River’s student intensive workshop participants.
This show features direction and choreography by Dann Dunn with assistant direction and choreography by Lisa Hendriks and music direction by Eileen Fields.
Performances will take place from Aug. 20 through
