Nancy (Baile) Locilento, 72, passed away surrounded by her family’s love on September 8, 2021, after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of Bud Locilento, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage. They were longtime residents of East Nantmeal Township, where they lived in an 18th century home that they restored over the course of their marriage.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, on April 10, 1949, Nancy was the daughter of the late Samuel and Dorothy (Bowman) Baile.

Nancy was a graduate of Holy Family Academy in Bayonne, NJ, and Monmouth University in Long Branch, NJ, majoring in elementary education. For many years she taught at the elementary level. Upon her retirement, she operated The Butterfing­ers, a catering and event planning company which she cofounded with her best friend. Known for its unique service touch and creative menus, they enjoyed success in the Chester County area for several years. Since then, she has focused on family, gardening and cooking, and caring for her feline friends.

In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mercedes Locilento and Adam VeVerka, Birchrunvi­lle, PA; and her beloved grandchild­ren, Merritt and Jack, Birchrunvi­lle, PA.

She was predecease­d by her brother, Jack, as well as many loving aunts and uncles.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A Life Celebratio­n will follow at 1:00 p.m.

Interment will be private and held at the convenienc­e of the family at All Souls Cemetery.
