Bethel Community

POTTSTOWN — Worship at Trinity United Church of Christ, 60 N. Hanover St., will take place in the Sanctuary at 9:30 AM on January 2 and will also be livestreamed on our YouTube channel. Communion will be served. Masks and social distancing will be required to participate in these services. Trinity will offer a free takeaway meal on Tuesday, January 4 between 4:30 and 5:30 PM. Zion’s UCC
POTTSTOWN — January 2nd is the Second Sunday after Christmas and Zion’s welcomes all to in-person worship at 10:15 am. Zion’s will have Installation and Ordination of the 2022 Consistory members. Rev. Austin Chinault, Zion’s United Church of Christ, Hanover and Chestnut streets, will have a message titled “In the Beginning.” The Sacrament of Holy Communion will also be shared. Items may be dropped off during hours of operation. Emmanuel’s Closet is open Monday and Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, every other Tuesday and Saturday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Friday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm; free Community Meals are served in the Genesis Room on Monday at 5:00 pm, Tuesday at 6:00 pm, Friday at 11:45 am, Saturday at 5:00 pm, and Sunday at 3:00 pm. Scout Troop 1299 meets on Monday at 7:00 pm. Youth between the ages of 11 and 17 are invited to join. Two other local congregations share the word of Christ from our location on Sunday mornings! POTTSTOWN — St. John’s United Church of Christ, 11 S. Price St., welcomes everyone to celebrate the New Year at our 10:15 am worship service. Masks continue to be mandatory. The Little Pantry is stocked weekly with water, food and personal care items for those community members in need. Food items are also being collected for Operation 143 which provides backpacks filled with food for schoolage children in Pottstown and surrounding school districts. As we begin a New Year let us keep those less fortunate in our thoughts by providing for these important Mission Projects.
