Barbara Lillian Soos

Barbara Lillian Soos (Reber), 96, of Exeter Township, formerly of Phoenixville, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 at her home. She was the loving wife to Victor J. Soos Jr. for over 50 years of marriage before his passing in October 2007. Born in Phoenixville, Barbara was the daughter of the late John and Helen Reber. Barbara loved cheering on her Eagles during the fall, and enjoyed gardening, baking, the beach, and most of all, loved spending time with her Shih Tzu, Penny.

Barbara is survived by her children, Victoria “Vicky” Hensley, wife of Charles, of Reading, Brenda Lee Heyward, wife of Kevin, of Kintnersville, and Judy Soos, of Phoenixville. She is also survived by her 27 grandchildren, her many great and great great grandchildren and her brothers, David and James Reber.

In addition to her husband Barbara is predeceased by her children, Terry Keough, Daniel Soos, Richard Soos, her brothers, Walter Reber and John Reber Jr. She is also predeceased by her loving companion whom she shared over 12 years with, John “Jack” Detweiller.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 in Bean Funeral Homes, 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Township, at 11:00 AM. Amy Landis, Certified Celebrant to officiate. The family will receive guests and relatives in Bean Funeral Home, Exeter Township, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
