Pa. Sports Writers name All-State teams
The 2023-24 Pennsylvania Sports Writers All-State Girls’ Basketball teams were announced Friday.
Southeastern Pa. was well represented with four players of the year hailing from the region.
Junior forward Molly Rullo of PIAA 6A champion Cardinal O’Hara took the honor in Class 6A; Archbishop Wood senior guard Ava Renninger was the award recipient in 5A; Audenreid junior Shayla Smith, who averaged 25.3 points per game, was selected best in 4A; Westtown freshman Jordyn Palmer was chosen player of the year in 3A after leading the Moose to the Pa. Independent Schools Athletic Association championship for a third straight season.
