The Middletown police reported the following arrests:

LARCENY: Christophe­r Rascoe, 21, 1Labella Circle, Middletown, was arrested and charged with sixth-degree larceny on Feb. 13after allegedly shopliftin­g cough and cold medicine from Rite Aid. He was released after posting a $500surety bond and a court date was scheduled for Feb. 27.

DISORDERLY: Henry L Nunes Jr., 54, 18Castanea Court, Middletown, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct on Feb. 27after police received a walk-in domestic complaint. A court date was scheduled for Feb. 28.

INTERFERIN­G: William Bruzy, 50, 1 Labella Circle, Middletown, was arrested and charged with two counts of interferin­g with an officer on Feb. 27 after he allegedly became combative with police and security at Middlesex Hospital. Police said he was combative with officers earlier as well when they tried to send him to the hospital. He was held at the police station in lieu of a $10,000surety bond and was set to appear in court Feb. 28.

FAILURE TO APPEAR: John Edward Marchinkow­ski, 45, Middletown, was arrested and charged with seconddegr­ee failure to appear on Feb. 28. Bond was set at $500and a court date scheduled for March 15.

POSSESSION: Alan Albert Kelley, 50, 429High St., Middletown, was arrested and charged with possession of drug parapherna­lia, possession within 1,500feet of a school zone, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500feet of a school zone during a motor vehicle stop on Feb. 28. Police said Kelley had numerous prescripti­ons on him that had recently been filled but appeared to be missing many pills, leading police to believe he had sold them. Bond was set at $5,000surety and a court date scheduled for March 21.
