DEMENTIA SERIES: The Alzheimer’s Association, Connecticut Chapter offers free 3-part Living with Dementia series for caregivers of people with any type of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease, at the Estuary Council of Seniors, M. SUNSET CRUISE: Join retired state geologist Ralph Lewis on a sunset cruise on the River Quest, a stable, 54-foot excursion boat with excellent viewing, enclosed cabin, and restroom. Depart from Eagle Landing State Park, Route 82, Haddam, at 3:30p.m. The tour will examine the geological features and processes that created the river valley. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be provided. Cost is $40 for members of the Lyme Public Hall Association, $45for non-members. Reservations and prepayment are required.
