The weekly New Haven Register/ Game Time CT Top 10poll has been released and after Xavier’s big win over West Haven last week, the Falcons have moved up from No. 10to No. 7this week.

Darien (6-0) (1) 700 2 L Lastweek: Def. Trinity Catholic 42-0. This week: at Ridgefield, Friday, 7p.m. Bottomline: The Blue-Wave made five sacks against Trinity Catholic to post their second shutout of the season. 3. New Canaan (5-0) (1) 668 3 L Lastweek: Did not play. This week: vs. Staples, Friday, 7p.m. Bottomline: The Rams had two weeks to prepare for Staples, which has lost two of its last three. 4. This week: vs. Brookfield, Friday, 7p.m. Bottomline: The Nighthawks took care of one unbeaten team by defeating Ansonia and snapping the Chargers’ 48-game winning streak.
