Goff House seeks concert sponsors

EAST HAMPTON » The Joseph N. Goff House Museum in East Hampton is once again asking for the support of individual­s, local businesses and organizati­ons to sponsor its Gazebo Music Series that takes place on four evenings in the summer at the Gazebo in East Hampton’s Old Village Center.

This will be the 18th summer that the Joseph N. Goff House, will put on the Gazebo Music Series, which averages an attendance of 100 people per concert, and has become a popular annual summer event. Featured are a wide variety of musicians and musical genres from jazz, to rock to bluegrass.

This year the concerts are planned for June 23, Featuring Seat of Our Pants; June 30, featuring the Larry Gareau Quartet; July 14, featuring the Survivors Swing Band; additional dates include July 21 (Band To Be Determine) and July 28, featuring The Ancient Mariners.

Sponsors are listed (by donation level: Tenor, $50 and Bass, $25) in public relations efforts and on fliers displayed around town and handed out at concerts. In addition, Chorus, Soprano and Alto sponsors ($300, $150 and $75 levels) are listed on a large banner that hangs on the gazebo during each concert. Lastly, the MC acknowledg­es “Chorus” level sponsors during concert intermissi­ons. T
