Crafters wanted for senior center fair

OLD SAYBROOK » The Estuary Senior Center is looking for crafters for its annual holiday craft fair 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Senior Center, 220 Main St., Old Saybrook. Space is available to local crafters, with handcrafted items for a $20 donation.

Crafters sought for annual bazaar

MIDDLETOWN » Members of the St. Theresa Guild will hold their St. Sebastian Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 3 in the church hall at 155 Washington St., Middletown.

Club plans holiday fair in Cromwell

CROMWELL » The Central CT Community Women’s Club’s 42nd Annual Holiday Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Cromwell Middle School, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

The event will host crafters from Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York. It will feature a bake sale, a cafeteria for refreshments and lunch as well as raffles.

The holiday craft fair is the largest fundraiser which the Club promotes each year. Profits from and other activities enable us to make considerable donations to families in need and local charities, civic organizations, and scouting and youth sports entities. Holiday fair invites vendors

MIDDLETOWN » The Church of the Holy Trinity will hold their Annual Holiday Fair on Saturday, Dec. 3, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at 381 Main St., Middletown. The fair will be held on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Parish Hall and the Church, with elevator access to the second floor. This is a great location as the Holiday on Main Street activities are all going on. Many people are out and about on Main Street during the holidays. Spots are still available. DEEP RIVER » The Winthrop Baptist Church, 444 Winthrop Road, Deep River, is holding a Gingerbread Creation Contest 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, during its annual Holly Day Christmas Faire.

Entry is free, and judging categories include Best in Show, Best Youth (under 18) Entry, and Best Theme.

Entries should be dropped off from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, and may be picked up from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, or from 9 to 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. to noon Sunday, Dec. 4. Entries not retrieved will not be saved.
