Learn about Middlesex Habitat for Humanity
CROMWELL >> Middlesex Habitat for Humanity is inviting all interested families and individuals to attend an applicant meeting for a Habitat for Humanity home.
The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, at First Church Middletown, 190 Court St.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide information about the Habitat for Humanity application process for home ownership.
At this time, Middlesex Habitat will be distributing applications for our program.
Anyone interested must attend an application meeting to get an application for the next Habitat house in Middletown, CT.
The four basic requirements to obtaining a Habitat for Humanity home are:

• meeting the income requirements for house;
• ability to pay an interestfree mortgage for the Habitat house; and
• willingness to partner with Middlesex Habitat in building the house.
Construction of the house will begin in spring 2017, and Middlesex Habitat is now starting the selection process.
Anyone interested must attend this meeting should they wish to be considered for this three-bedroom residence.
Children should not attend the applicant meeting.
For more information or to indicate they will be attending, families and individuals should call the Middlesex Habitat office at 860-343-9179.
