KEEP AN EYE ON

⏩ Been there, done that: A win would enable UConn to head into the postseason with an unblemished record for the 10th time since the 1994-95 season. It would be UConn’s third straight perfect regular season and the 10th win against a team ranked in the top 25 in the Associated Press poll. The ceremony to honor seniors Kia Nurse and Gabby Williams is set to begin at 6:37 p.m. and will air live on the team’s Facebook page.

⏩ Doubling her pleasure: February games seem to bring the best out of UConn junior forward Napheesa Collier. In the last two seasons, Collier has scored in double figures in all 17 February games with nine 20-point games and two with more than 30 points. She is shooting 69 percent and averaging 21 points in February as a sophomore and junior.

⏩ Bouncing back: It wouldn’t be too hard to figure out the low point of an otherwise impressive season for the Bulls as USF was blown out 100-49 by UConn on Jan. 6. Kitija Laksa and Maria Jespersen, the highest scoring tandem in the AAC, combined for nine points and were 3 for 24 from the field. Since that time they have scored in double figures in all 13 of the USF games with Laksa averaging 21.9 points and Jespersen 21.0. South Florida went 12-1 during that span, including an impressive win over Big Ten regular-season champion Ohio State. ⏩ Interested spectator: The game figures to approach sellout status and among those expected to be in attendance is Australian teenager Ezi Magbegor, the reigning rookie of the year in Australia’s Women’s National Basketball League. Magbegor was the leading scorer for the Australian team that won the gold medal at the 2016 FIBA U17 World Cup highlighted by a double-double in a win over the United States in the semifinal, a squad that included UConn signees Olivia Nelson-Ododa and Christyn Williams.
