Phi Theta Kappa honor society inducts 64
MIDDLETOWN — This year’s international honor society inductees at Middlesex Community College have distinguished themselves as high achievers, as scholars and members of the community.
The MxCC chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, Beta Gamma Xi, inducted 64 new members at a ceremony April 20, according to a press release. Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor society that rewards academic excellence while promoting leadership, fellowship and service, was first established in 1918 and chartered in 1996.
Each has earned and maintained a grade-point average of 3.65 during their college studies and have also participated in extracurricular activities.
