Family received excellent care at Middlesex Hospital

I appreciate what the doctors and nurses at Middlesex Hospital have done for me and my family. I’d like to thank several staff members for their innovative treatments: Dr. Alan Douglass, hospice; Dr. John Williams, family practice; Joan Sena, registered nurse, hospice; and Sarah Sena Fontaine, hospice nurse, case manager.

My grandmother Bianca Markoski died Nov. 22, 2013, on the hospice floor. She had pancreatic cancer, congestive heart failure and diabetes. Dr. Alan Douglass came into her room that day to make sure she was comfortable and check on our family. It was a privilege and honor to have you care for my grandmother.

I thank the greatest primary doctor of all time, Dr. John Williams, who took great care of my grandmother while she was his patient.

On March 7, 2017, my grandfather George Markoski died peacefully at home in his sleep. He was in and out of Middlesex Hospital because of his overall health, diabetes and heart.

I also appreciate the care my mother received at Middlesex Hospital and thank the first responder who answered my mother’s call for help.

I also was helped at the Middlesex Hospital Emergency Department because I had chest pain and shortness of breath.

To President/CEO Vincent Capece Jr.: I cannot say thank you enough for what the staff, doctors and nurses and other Middlesex Hospital personnel have done for my family members.
