3 new mem­bers step into spot­light for Oak­dale show

You may not know their tunes, but your pre­teen chil­dren prob­a­bly do.

The bouncy pop of Kidz Bop Live 2018’s North Amer­i­can Tour will play Toy­ota Oak­dale The­atre Saturday, June 16, boast­ing the No. 1 mu­sic brand for kids and pro­duc­tion by the same com­pany (SRae Pro­duc­tions) be­hind con­certs by Imag­ine Dragons and The Weeknd.

The tour backs the release of “Kidz Bop 37,” the Jan­uary-re­leased al­bum in a brand that began in 2001, and the in­tro­duc­tion of three new group mem­bers: Olivia, 11; Shane, 13; and Indigo, 11.

The Kidz Bop Kids have been named Bill­board Magazine’s No. 1 Kids’ Artists for the eighth con­sec­u­tive year, ac­cord­ing to a news release.

At this venue, four of the eight cur­rent Kidz Bop singers will per­form to­day’s big­gest hits, along with in­no­va­tive stage de­sign, spe­cial ef­fects, fan in­ter­ac­tion and even a par­ent lip-sync bat­tle.
