Cham­ber of­fers pro­fes­sional devel­op­ment classes

MIDDLETOWN —The Mid­dle­sex County Cham­ber of Com­merce will once again its free “Pro­fes­sional Train­ing & Devel­op­ment Pro­gram.”

This pro­gram, which was es­tab­lished in 1986, has trained more than 2,000 peo­ple since its in­cep­tion and has re­ceived many awards in­clud­ing a Pres­i­den­tial Ci­ta­tion and The Gover­nor’s Lau­rel Award.

These pro­grams are con­tin­gent on fund­ing and free to the pub­lic, and are de­signed to pro­vide in­di­vid­u­als with the skills to compete in the mod­ern and evolv­ing work­force. Some class of­fer­ings will also be avail­able vir­tu­ally on­line.

Classes of­fered in­clude Grant Writ­ing, Mas­ter­ing the Art and Sci­ence of Ne­go­ti­a­tion, Manag­ing Your­self and Lead­ing Oth­ers, Iden­ti­fy­ing Op­por­tu­ni­ties in Mar­ket Trends, Strate­gic Lead­er­ship, Quick­Books, Ad­vanced Ex­cel and Ca­reer/Per­sonal Coach­ing
