Goes ‘above and beyond’ for clients

Before Renee Mascia became a Realtor in 2004, she was a nurse for 14 years. One of her patients happened to be a real estate broker and thought that she would make a great Realtor.

“My broker thought that I would do really well,” Mascia said. “He said nurses pay attention to details and they care about helping people, which are two very important qualities.”

Mascia had been considerin­g a career in real estate at the time. She got her license and has been recognized for her sales achievemen­ts since her very first year in the business. Mascia is driven by knowing that she can make a difference in helping her clients get the home they want.

She takes great pride in the fact that many of her clients talk about how she had gone “above and beyond’ to help them.

“They see me as someone who is looking out for their best interests, cares about what they want and can meet their needs,” she said.

Mascia believes in treating every client as if they were her only client, no matter what the size of the transactio­n is.

“I make everyone feel that they are important,” she said. “My clients know they can call me any time day or night and I’ll respond. I’m always on!”

And when it comes to negotiatin­g, clients are thrilled to have Mascia on their side.

have my buyer pay less and refer business to me because I did a great job for them. To me, that speaks volumes.”

She is just as straightfo­rward with her sellers and even does her own staging working with the seller’s furniture, so there is no added cost.

“I am very up front with sellers. I’m not going to inflate a price because I want a listing and then have to reduce it,” she said. “I make a game plan of how to tackle a listing price based on what the seller’s goals are.”
