Women’s Council of Realtors thanked for fundraising efforts

The Women’s Council of Realtors, Greater Fairfield County was thanked for their fundraising efforts on behalf of the Women’s Center of Greater Danbury at their Realtor2Realtor event last month. The event was underwritten by Clancy Relocation & Logistics, so 100 percent of the proceeds were donated.

A check for $5,400 was presented by Marie Borner, Coldwell Banker Real Estate and President of Women’s Council of Realtors, Greater Fairfield County and Thomas Grimes, Account Representative from Clancy Relocation & Logistics and accepted by the Women’s Center Board Chair Glori Norwitt.

Each year, the center serves more than 20,000 individuals. The center’s key areas of focus include emergency shelter and support services, counseling and advocacy, crisis intervention, and community education, primary prevention and training.
