Women Redefining Retirement to meet
MILFORD — Women Redefining Retirement will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 14 at Golden Hill Rehabilitation Pavilion, 2028 Bridgeport Ave.
Steve Johnson, Milford’s open space and natural resource agent, is scheduled to speak about the changes in recycling rules. Members may bring unwanted accessories (scarves, belts, handbags, jewelry) for an “Accessory Swap,” and remaining items will be donated to St. Raphael’s Hospital Thrift Shop. EAST HAVEN — The East Haven Chamber of Commerce will is offering a seminar, “How to Network” at 5 p.m., followed by a Business After Hours networking event at 5:30 p.m., Jan. 16 at the Village at Mariners Point, 111 S. Shore Drive.

Network of Executive Women offering scholarships
The Network of Executive Women is accepting applications for undergraduate scholarships from Feb. 1-28, according to a release.
The scholarships are being offered to women residing or attending school in New Haven or Fairfield counties who demonstrate financial need, the release said, and applicants must be returning, continuing or beginning schooling or other types of training to further education goals and/or enhance job skills. Students going directly from high school to college are not eligible, according to the release.
