Take a Pacific coast adventure this fall

The Jack and Friends Group will be going on a Pacific Coast trip starting in Washington and ending in San Francisco, Oct. 7-14. Highlights include Seattle’s colorful waterfront area and Pike Place Market plus Mount St. Helen’s Visitor Center; in Oregon, visit Mount Hood, the Columbia River Gorge , Bonneville Dam, Williamette Valley and the Oregon Trail; California’s Redwood National Park, the Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars In San Francisco, a cruise around Alcatraz and time at Fisherman’s Wharf. Many other sites will also be included.

Cost is $2,999 for a double, $2,949 triple, $3749 single until April 8. Save $150 for early booking.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s

The West Haven Senior Center is offering a trip March 14 to the Log Cabin’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Entertainment by Gerry Malone and the Lads, with a menu of hors d’oeuvres, glass of wine or beer, Irish stew, corned beef dinner and more. Cost is $67 per person.
