Jeans for Charity fundraiser benefits Project Purple

SHELTON — DHL&S, CPAs & Advisors has selected Project Purple Inc. as its 2018 Jeans for Charity fundraiser recipient.

“The Jeans for Charity program encourages employees to donate money weekly to a fund that is matched by the Firm, in exchange for allowing participants to wear jeans on Fridays. The DHL&S Jeans for Charity program has donated more than $59,000 to local charities since it was established in 2004,” according to a news release.

Project Purple is a Connecticut-based nonprofit that raises awareness of pancreatic cancer, including funding of research efforts and supporting patients and families.
