1. Ridgefield (14) 17-0 140 1 I Results last week: def. Fairfield 9-2, def. Norwalk 8-2, def. Simsbury 5-3.

Bottom Line: Tigers have 100 goals, even, going into Wednesday’s Fairfield Prep rematch. Nicky Cullinan has 32 of them.

2. Darien 12-4 126 2 I

Results last week: def. Fairfield 6-0.

Bottom Line: The unanimous No. 2 Blue Wave have one loss by three goals, which they can avenge next week at Greenwich; one by two and two in overtime. Tuesday’s home game against Wilton was moved to Wednesday night at 8:30.

3 (tie). Northwest 12-1-1 98 3 I Catholic

Results last week: lost to Notre Dame-Fairfield 2-0, def. Smithfield (R.I.) 3-2, def. Conard 2-0.

Bottom Line: Tuesday’s storm moved the first of two Xavier games to Thursday in Simsbury; the rematch is in a week in Middletown. The Lions welcome Hamden in between for their regular-season home finale.

6. New Canaan 12-6 68 7 I

Results last week: def. Wilton 8-2, def. Notre Dame-Fairfield 3-1, def. Norwalk 7-1.

Bottom Line: The Rams have losses against the top three teams in last week’s poll, but otherwise, they’re 11-0 since Dec. 22. Visits to Staples and Xavier close the regular season.

8. West Haven 10-6 22 NR I

Results last week: def. North Haven 7-2, def. NFI 5-4 (OT). Bottom Line: The Westies are one of just 11 teams to receive a vote in every poll this season. This is their top-10 season debut. (The 11 are NFI plus this week’s top 10.)

9. Xavier 4-9-1 20 10 I

Results last week: def. Notre Dame-West Haven 3-2 (OT). Bottom Line: Backed up their return to the Top 10 with the overtime win on Chase Maxwell’s goal. Tuesday’s postponeme­nt leaves the Falcons scheduled to play five games in the next eight days.

10. Watertown/ 12-3-2 18 9 II Pomperaug

Results last week: def. Farmington 5-2, def. LHK 2-1. Bottom Line: Last week’s poll didn’t fully bake in the loss to Hand last Monday night. A rematch with NFI — the teams tied to open the season — is Friday night. Dropped out: NFI (8)

3 (tie). Fairfield Prep 8-7 98 5 I

Results last week: lost to Pope Francis (Mass.) 5-0, def. Bishop Hendricken (R.I.) 3-1.

Bottom Line: The Jesuits’ only two in-state regulation-time losses were their first two games. Round 2 against Ridgefield is Wednesday night. (Round 2 against Darien was an overtime loss.)

5. Hamden 9-6 94 4 I

Results last week: did not play.

Bottom Line: A week after jumping from sixth to fourth, the Green Dragons didn’t play, actually gained three points but dropped a spot. Poll math. They get back to work Wednesday against Notre Dame-Fairfield, with three of their last five at home.

7. ND-West Haven 7-7-1 56 6 I Results last week: lost to Xavier 3-2 (OT), def. St. Joseph 7-1.

Bottom Line: A couple of losses (Hamden, the week before last) have dropped the Green Knights a couple of spots, but they’ll have opportunit­ies to impress the next couple of weeks.
