Kids Arts Children’s Circus registration open

MIDDLETOWN — Registration is open for the 2019 Kids Arts — The Children’s Circus of Middletown. Conducted by Oddfellows Playhouse, this 5-week interdisciplinary full-day program culminates in a spectacular outdoor circus performance before a HUGE crowd of families, friends and community. In 2018, The Children’s Circus of Middletown was recognized with a National Excellence in Summer Learning award, and is one of the most unique youth programs in Connecticut. A limited number of spots are available for full day .

Circus Camp is held Monday through Friday, from July 1 – Aug. 2 at Macdonough School on Spring Street. The circus concludes with a stupendous outdoor performance on Friday, August 2 before crowds of thousands at Macdonough School. This year’s circus performance will feature performers and include stilting, unicycling, rolling globe, acrobatics, juggling, largescale puppetry, clowning and physical comedy, plus live music by the Circus Band.

Space is available for kids entering grade 3 through the age of 15. Circus registration forms are available at the Arts & Culture Office or online at www.middletownct.gov/ arts
