Summer concerts continue July 25

EAST HAMPTON — The Joseph N. Goff House Concert Series continues July 25 with a performanc­e by The Kenn Morr Band, performing a laid back brand of folksyAmer­icana; Bill Naughton Jr, performing original country folk, rock and ballads with meaningful lyrics on Aug. 1; Survivors Swing Band performing classic melodies from an era gone by, hot tunes and soothing ballads of the Swing Era on Aug. 8.

All concerts held at 6:30 p.m. at the Center School Gazebo in the East Hampton Village Center. Bring a picnic, chairs and a blanket. Each week members of the Joseph N. Goff House board of directors will be collecting donations for a different local charity or organizati­on and the local Cub Scouts Pack 8 will sell snacks. For those who want to know more about the opera before the performanc­e, Opera Talk is an informativ­e halfhour chat about the opera, featuring Artistic Director Alan Mann, taking place one hour and thirty minutes before the show. Tickets to Opera Talk are $5.

Join us for a delicious al fresco boxed supper, prepared by Chips’ Pub III, on the lawn overlookin­g Clinton Harbor, an hour before each performanc­e. $15 each. Please call the Opera Theater of Connecticu­t office for more informatio­n. Dinners must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance.

Tickets are $55, $50 for seniors and $30 for students. Call about out special price of $40 per ticket of a group of 8 or more people, and the organizer of the group attends the show for free.
