Shoreline Wine Festival Aug. 1011

-

GUILFORD — The 13th Annual Shoreline Wine Festival will be held Aug. 1011, marking its 13th anniversary. The festival is hosted & sponsored by Bishop’s Orchards Farm Market and Winery in Guilford, CT. This year’s festival has brought in more than $20,000 in sponsorships with Bishop's Orchards Winery, Clinton Crossing, Foxon Soda, Mosaic, Proforma, Miranda Creative, WTNH, and Shore Publishing.

The Shoreline Wine Festival will feature Connecticut Vineyards and Wineries from around the state, all offering their fine wines that range from grape wines to fruit wines. One of the many benefits to the Shoreline Wine Festival for attendees is that all wine that is sampled is available for sale that weekend to take home. This is something that many festivals do not and cannot offer. This twoday festival is a ticketed event that affords the opportunity to taste the wines from all of the wineries, enjoy a tour of the Bishop’s Orchards Winery, live music and entertainment, and a chance to visit with local vendors and artisans. Food offered at the event is from our eclectic food truck line, at an additional charge. Food trucks will include tacos, steamed burgers, lobster rolls, BBQ, grilled cheese, mac n cheese, fresh squeezed lemonade, Italian cuisine and pizza.

Wineries participating in this year’s festival include Hopkins Vineyard, Jonathan Edwards Winery, Jones Family Farm Winery, Paradise Hills Vineyard, Sunset Meadow Vineyards, and of course Bishop’s Orchards Winery. Drink the wines of Connecticut and listen to renowned band, Old Hickory Boys, and DJ services from Music in Motion, while taking in the scenery overlooking the apple orchards of Bishop’s Orchards.

Tickets for the festival are $35 adults, $10 for Designated Drivers. Tickets are at a per person, per day rate, and they can be purchased online or at Bishop’s Orchards Farm Marke, 1355 Boston Post Road, Guilford. They will also be available at the door of the festival. The hours of the event are Saturday, Aug. 10, 127 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 11, 126 p.m. For more information and tickets, visit www.shorelinewinefestival.com or contact Erica DeNuzzo at 203.453.2338 x. 215.
