Women’s leadership conference set in Cromwell
MIDDLETOWN — The 2019 Women in Business Leadership Conference, Luncheon, and Health and Wellness Fair will be held Oct. 23 at the Red Lion Hotel, 100 Berlin Road, Cromwell, as part of Connecticut Connections Connecticut Connections Middlesex County’s Premier Business Expo.
This event, sponsored by Citizens Bank and presented by the Women’s Leadership Collaborative, will feature a full day of learning, growing and networking. The conference will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 100 Berlin Road in Cromwell. The cost of the conference is $85.
The luncheon portion of the event will be headlined by keynote speaker, Dr. Dorothy MartinNeville, who has brought her message through keynote events, TEDx, radio, and TV into nine countries. Her messages of leadership, transformation, change management, and the need for risk and growth, inspire, motivate, and drive her audiences to action. She will be discussing her book Real Women Change The World: Letting The Good Girl Die So The Real Woman Can Live.
Following the luncheon is a workshop called “ENGAGE" to be given by Ellen Feldman Ornato & Jenny Drescher of The Bolder Company. The next workshop is titled “Discover, Define, Do Value Based Living” will be led by Wendy Shumway of Invision CCS. Ellen Feldman Ornato & Jenny Drescher of The Bolder Company will return to present a workshop titled “EXLPORE!" Dr. Dorothy will lead the final workshop titled “Knowing the Value of Saying No Value Based Time Management,” which will provide businesswomen the essential tools in learning not to feel guilt when saying no to unnecessary tasks.
