Notable: Yale senior receivers Reed Klubnik and JP Shohfi each have a chance to become the Bulldogs' career leader in receiving yards. Klubnik needs 21 yards and Shohfi 140 to break the mark of 2,396 set by Ralph Plumb (2001-04). .. Stakes are rather high as the teams are tied for second place in the Ivy League, a game behind undefeated Dartmouth. While the Big Green, which handed Yale its only loss and snapped Princeton's 17-game Ivy League winning streak, are heavily favored to beat Cornell and Brown and capture the league title, strange things have been known to happen late in the season in the Ivy League ... Yale has eight players who started on defense in last year's Princeton's game when the Tigers ran for nearly 500 yards and seven touchdowns. Quarterback John Lovett, the 2018 Ivy League Player of the Year, has graduated. All three starting receivers and three starting offensive linemen have also moved on but Colin Eaddy, who ran for 266 yards, is back and Kevin Davidson, who has accepted an invitation to the East-West Shrine all-star game, has thrown for 2,250 yards with 20 touchdowns and five interceptions while Jacob Birmelin is one of six players with at least 10 receptions . ... Yale coach Tony Reno said that Princeton's Jeremiah Tyler might be the best linebacker at the FCS level. Tyler had 13 tackles for loss and an interception this season.
