Stay informed throughout crisis
During times of uncertainty and doubt like the present, we all seek information (in addition to toilet paper and a can or two of string beans, of course). We look for the answers to questions not easily answered — the who, why, where, and what to do, as well as the what not to do.
Throughout this crisis, I have done my best to keep the public as informed as possible, through Facebook and Twitter, as well as through daily mass emails. I have received many words of thanks for this, and it is clear that people are starving for timely, regular and updated information. I very much appreciate those kind words of appreciation and support. I believe that, as an elected official, it is my duty to keep the public reasonably informed during these difficult times, and I intend to continue to carry out that duty.
For those that are not on Facebook or Twitter, but would like to get the information, you can sign up for my daily email updates from the Capitol, which usually summarize the Connecticut coronavirus information for that day. To receive those updates automatically, just go to my state webpage repfishbein.com, and on the front page input your name, town and email address, and you will be on the list. Or, perhaps the easiest, yet passive way to get the information without having to sign up for Facebook, or Twitter, or for the daily emails, is to just go to www.Fishbein4ct.com, and go to the “News” tab where the daily updates are posted as well.
We are in this situation together, and information is important to all of us. Please stay safe and healthy as we work together through this crisis. I will continue to do my best to keep you informed.
