YEAW, FRANCES N. (MORARIU)

-

Frances Yeaw, beloved mother of Christopher and Jason Yeaw, passed suddenly from this world on April 3, 2021. She leaves her most valued and heart-broken treasures, her two sons and dear daughter-in-law, Nan. She also leaves her grandchildren, the lights of her life, Grace, Mary, and John, the children of Chris and Nan. Born in 1950, Frances also leaves her cherished father John, for whom she was the primary caregiver, and her much-loved brothers John, Thomas, Matthew, and Mark. Frances was predeceased by her beloved husband Gary and dearest mother Sylvia.

Fran lovingly served all of those around her, especially her family, eventually becoming what she seemed born to be, a nurse. She labored relentlessly as a nephrology nurse for decades, touching and improving countless lives with her compassion, competence, and careful attention to detail. She took great delight in her book club, gardening, her heirloom lilies, knitting, crocheting, baking, and pottery, having been a member of the Wesleyan Potters Guild for decades. One of her greatest joys was walking the Air Line Trail with her husband, Gary, for whom she gave diligent care during over twenty years of his severe cardiac condition. They were high school sweethearts and best friends for five and a half decades, and since his death in 2018 she struggled mightily with grief. Nevertheless, Fran continued to take great joy in her family, and they in her. She loved taking nature walks with them, spending the holidays with them, cooking with them, and passing on traditions to them. Her home was sprinkled with artwork from her children and grandchildren, family photos, and other memorabilia. Her family meant everything to her, and she meant everything to us. We love you and desperately miss you, Mom, Fran, Grammy. Rest in peace, while we await our happy reunion.

We wish to thank all her doctors, nurses, and caregivers, especially Drs. Edwards, Ali, and Corning. Thanks to friends and family for your love, condolences, and support. Funeral services will be private.
