Ann Coleman Bradley passed away peacefully on August 29, 2021 a few months shy of her 96th birthday. She was the daughter of William Coleman and Anastasia Sullivan of Middletown. She grew up on the family’s dairy farm on Coleman Road. She was predeceased by her beloved sisters Margaret, Helen, and Dorothy and by her brothers Timothy, James, Norman and William. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. She regaled her family with stories of growing up on the farm including the flight of the Hindenburg over Middletown, and the Hurricane of ‘38, which destroyed their barn and killing all the cows. She married John W. Bradley and, for over 25 years, worked by his side at Bradley’s Express, a trucking company located at what is now Harbor Park. Together they raised and put their four children through college. In her later years, she enjoyed working as the controller for the Konover family at the Holiday Inn in New Britain. She was a lifelong communicant of St. John’s Church in Cromwell. She enjoyed traveling with her friends Jan Small and Ginny Reddy. She leaves her sons John and his wife Christine of Wethersfield, Dennis of Wethersfield, Robert of Boynton Beach,

FL, along with her daughter Stacie and her husband Jack of Westwood, MA, as well as her daughters-in-law, Susan Reddy of Middletown and Jean Bradley of Auburn, NY. Her grandchildren Liz and Kate, Denise and Jackie, Tim and Joe, and John and Maura and her great-grandchildren Nathaniel, Abby, Sofia, Jack, Daisy, Max, Maddie and Gabriella, born a week ago, were the joy of her life. She was a kind, loving and unselfish person who taught and inspired all of us. Farley Sullivan Funeral Home of Wethersfield has charge of the arrangements. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday at St. John’s Church in Cromwell. All attendees are requested to wear masks.
