IN REMEMBRANCE
North Haven Conservation Commission members, joined by First Selectman Mike Freda and Selectmen Bill Pieper and Sally Buemi, reflected on those North Haven residents who died from COVID-19. In remembrance a dogwood tree, donated by the NHCC, was planted on the Town Green. “These past 16 months have certainly been challenging times for all of us … as we move forward out of this pandemic it’s very important for us to pause and reflect and glance back on all the wonderful people who have passed away,” Freda said. “This tree and memorial will endure the test of time here in North Haven and will always be a powerful reminder and symbol as to never forget these residents who have lost their lives.”
