CHC gets funds for telehealth training, care

MIDDLETOWN — Community Health Center, which has a location at 675 Main St., has been awarded $2.2 million over the course five years from the Health Resources & Services Administration, an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The funds are to provide for telehealth-based training and support to primary care providers in rural, frontier and other underserved areas of the U.S.

CHC is one of nine awardees nationally, and the only federally qualified health center recipient.
