Albert V. Fonda of Naples, Fl passed away at the age of 93 in Margate, Florida. Born in New Haven, Connecticut on February 14, 1928, to Ralph and Madeline Derenzo Fonda. Preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Josephine (Jessie) Fonda, his parents, Ralph and Madeline Fonda, his brother, Ralph Jr. and his sister Katherine Pappas, and his companion, Katherine (Kitty) Zeoli. Survived by 3 children, 2 grandchildren David and Nicole and 2 great granddaughters, Kaylen and Brooke, a niece and Nephew, Vivian and Steven (Karen) Pappas, a nephew Thomas (Lois) Bernardi, and a special person Debbie(Alex) Destefano of Naples, Fl and Christine Fonda of North Haven, CT.

Retired from Stop&Shop after 29 years as a meat cutter and Meat Manager. Former member of the North Haven Auxiliary Police, a life member of the Pine Grove Men’s Club of North Haven. Mr. Fonda moved permanently to Naples, Fl in 2014 after several years as a snowbird. After relocating from Naples, Fl. He resided with his daughter Lynn in

Margate, Fl. Al was an avid golfer and loved to work with woodworking projects. Family and friends are invited to meet directly at the Office of All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Avenue, North Haven on Wednesday morning, Sept. 8th at 10:45 to follow the funeral procession to the graveside for an 11:00 service.
