Schedule set for flu, pneumonia, shingles, COVID vaccine clinics
CROMWELL — The Town Hall will be hosting a number of seasonal flu clinics in the gymnasium at 41 West St. Pneumonia, shingles and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 shots will be offered.
Vaccinations will be available Sept. 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Oct. 6 from 1 to 6 p.m., and Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
People must be at least 12 years and in good health to receive a flu or vaccine shot, and senior doses will be available, according to a press release.
Flu vaccines are free with most insurance plans (bring an insurance card). There is a limited supply of flu vaccine available for those without insurance. Insurance cards are required to receive pneumonia or shingles vaccines (bring an insurance card).
Appointments are not needed, and shots will be administered on a walk-in only basis. Proof of residency is not required. People are asked to wear a mask, social distance and follow all COVID safety protocols.
